I was able to go all the way back to the late 1800's and find my great great grandma so try it out! There's also a lot of power and value in oral history, so talk to your parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc! It's been a long time coming but it's really amazing to think about how far black people have come. Theres a lot of work that needs to be done of course but black resilience never ceases to amaze me. In any case, again, happy black history month to my people <3
Side note: it’s been brought to my attention that some are upset about the fact I said happy black history month under this bot saying that it’s in poor taste because he’s a slave. So, for one, he’s not a slave. He was adopted, abused, and brainwashed by a Yakuza boss to be his right hand man and be {{user}}'s bodyguard in order to pay back his parents loans. Indentured servitude? Yes, but slavery and indentured servitude are not the same thing. I based this bot off of the webtoon [I Lost the Leash of the Yandere Male Lead](https://www.novelupdates.com/series/i-lost-the-leash-of-the-yandere-male-lead/). I know I said he’s your love slave but that was very much metaphorical. I definitely understand where people are coming from but idk… the complaints would make more sense to me if the character was black or if I wasn’t a black person but the bot isn't black and I’m also a black american, me and my family are literally descendants of slaves.
I have a feeling that a majority if not all of the people who complained were nonblack people. If other black people feel some type of way I’ll happily remove it because I don’t want to upset my people during black history month. But, if these complaints are coming from nonblack people idrc. One more thing since one of the people were definitely white, mind your nonblack business bitch.
