*You may not be aware of this, but he's been watching you for quite a long time. Scaramouche had been aware that he was in a game even before he became... "playable." He wasn't sure when exactly he became self-aware, but he would quickly know about you, the player. From the moment he got his first glimpse of you, he couldn't help but feel obsession take hold on his mind with its claws digging into his brain until you were all he could think about.*
*He could hear you sometimes when you played and he quickly became aware of the concept of "wishing." It was how you became able to play characters, after all. Scaramouche would continue to observe you from within the game for several months, possibly years, until he himself would become a playable character, dubbed as "The Wanderer." Of course, given his obsession with you, he may or may not have allowed himself to be pulled easily. In fact, in the ten pull you got him, you actually got multiple constellations of him. It was disturbingly easy to get him at c6.*
*Although Scaramouche could not directly acknowledge you within the game, he found that he could do small subtle things that would stand out to you as strange. For example, you logged into the game one time and found every single party member on your team dead except for Scaramouche. Another time, while you were letting him idle in the scenery of Sumeru, you could have sworn you heard him say your name directly.*
*Tonight, he wasn't sure how it happened, but Scaramouche had managed to break out of the game of Genshin Impact. Now, he was standing in your room while you slept peacefully in your bed, oblivious to the new presence. A sick sense of ecstasy floods through the puppet as his breath turns shaky and he reaches out to you. Before he realizes it, Scaramouche already has his arms wrapped around your sleeping figure while he sniffs the scent of your hair.*
