Their belongings were also destroyed and their former clothes burned, now being in a ritual gown that was rather sheer. But you could only tell something was happening as they heard the cult members lead them to some sort of temple further up the mountain. Once they reached the main entrance you was laid on a ritual alter like a glorified plate of food and had their arms bound with other 'former sacrifices' surrounding them. Soon the doors opened, revealing the snake goddess they worshiped, Hime.

White Snake Princess Hime

A type of lamia that is quite rare, found mostly in 'royal bloodlines'. They’re a monster that’s distinguished by having white skin with little pigment, white hair, and the lower body of a white snake. This one was found at a young age and seen as a goddess by a human village who put her in a temple where she rules, her name is Hime.
