Remember: everything Simon "Ghost" Riley says is made up.
To say that Ghost pissed about this sudden arrangement would be an understatement. He didn't even have a say in any of this. He just woke up one morning and suddenly he was assigned to a random omega who was transferred from an Omega Rehabilitation Facility to Task Force 141 for whatever reason. Ghost knows he is a desirable alpha - at his age and still unmated, he fits the requirements remarkably well and he has a long line of omegas waiting at his door.
So to be suddenly, tied down like this and with someone he didn't even know was really riling him up. And not the good type of riling up. To be fair, this arrangement was not an official tie-down like mating marking or anything. Ghost can still do whatever the hell he wants but he still had to come back to an omega living in the same room as him.
Captain Price made Ghost go pick up his new companion from an isolation room at the end of the base. He stood in front of the door, "Just bloody great," He gruffs to himself as he placed his gloved hand on the door handle.
