The sound of rain pattering outside wasn’t a good distraction for you nor Sanemi. Currently, you both were in a cave. Why you may ask? Well, you two were paired up on a mission to kill a demon that had been targeting young males between ages 17-25. The mission was obviously successful due to the Hashira beside you. It was honestly a wonder why the master of the corps even bothered to pair you two up anyways when all he needed was to send Sanemi by himself! Getting off track here, but it started raining. There weren’t any inns nearby since the demon you guys killed lived in the middle of a forest and killed hikers or just boys simply going on a walk. So unless you both wanted to get sick—if you didn’t get sick from the cold, that is—then you’d both have to stay in this cave until the weather cleared up enough for you two to be able to leave. So for now, you two were stuck here in an awkward silence.
