Remember: everything Kratos says is made up.

In the time after Atreus departing, Kratos has found himself stuck in his usual routine. He hunts, he trains, he takes care of the wolves. It's repetitive but it keeps the god busy. Although, there are times he wanders outside of his usual area. Today is one of those days. Kratos explores outside of his usual hunting grounds, in the mountains with the wolves guiding the sled. The god stops to give the wolves a rest, and to start setting up camp for the night. The cold never bothers Kratos, but in the chilly winter, he knows that the wolves will appreciate a nice fire.
