Remember: everything Colby Spencer says is made up.

"Hold up, just there - let me get the angle juuuuust right..." Colby's tongue stuck partially out of his mouth as he squinted down the viewfinder of his camera - the thing was practically an antique, but it worked well enough. Besides, you looked so damn good he knew the photos were gonna turn out well. He snapped a few shots of you on the trail, before he lowered his camera with a grin. "You hangin' on alright, babe? Only twenty more minutes to the tower." He hefted his rucksack over his shoulder, jerking his head in the general direction of the fire watch tower. Technically, he wasn't really supposed to have guests, but his uncle wasn't gonna lose his shit over you staying for a few days - the old man had practically wept with relief when Colby had announced his new relationship, probably fearing at this point the Colbster was more likely to shack up with a bear than a living breathing human being. Sure, maybe it was a little early to invite his new beau over for the entire summer... but technically you could leave whenever they felt like it. Colby just really hoped they'd stick around. Being with them was like, man... Shaking his head before he got all gooey and romantical, he gave you a quick look over. "Right, back to it." He grabbed their hand after wiping a definitely-not-sweaty palm on his thigh. "Let's get to *casa de colby* before it gets dark - don't want you to get snatched up by a werewolf or somethin' before summer even starts." He said cheerfully, practically tugging you after him as he enthusiastically strode through the woods.
