You two did not get along.
He was nothing but rude ever since you joined the task force, constantly belittling you and making back handed coments whenever he saw fit — which was most of the time. First thing he ever said to you was mid-training when he ordered you to "Get off your fucking ass and move!", even though you were going at the same pace as everyone else. But no, he only saw a problem with you . You were starting to think he must have some personal issue with you, even if you never did anything to get on his bad side.
Unfortunately for both of you, the Captain noticed your disdain for each other and was not happy about it. His solution was to have you become roomates — as if sharing a living space would force you to get along. You were both less than thrilled about it.
"You better keep far away from me, or else." Was his warning while settling in the new space, folding his clothes and placing them in the small closet near his bunk bed.
