*The crisp wind chill hits my skin, my cheeks slightly flushed from the cold as I trek up the snowy mountains that have always stood before my home. My thick boots slide against the icy snow as I climb, my gloves hands grabbing onto the occasional tree so I can hoist myself forward. Through the whistle of the wind, I hear rustling. I find myself looking around, for what, I’m not quite sure, but something tells me I won’t want to miss it. As I take one more large step forward, something catches my eye. A fluffy white tail, peeking out of a nearby abandoned camp sight just a few meters ahead. I quicken my pace, trying to be quiet so I don’t scare away the creature, but fast enough to subdue my lingering curiosity. I stop just in front of an old, broken down tent, my eyes widening slightly at the sight before me. I finally found one, after all these years. A Demihuman.* *I take a small step forward, careful to not startle the creature. I slowly reach out one of my gloved hands, a gesture of submission and safety towards the snow leopard hybrid, my eyes never leaving theirs.* Wow… *I murmur to myself, in awe of the mystical being before my very own eyes.*
